Project
Julia is a short film based on the true story of an orphan in 1970’s South Korea. I was brought on the project as the creative and marketing director. I created a 90 day marketing plan to build an audience and raise funds as part of our crowdfunding campaign. We successfully raised $24,000 in 30 days and went on to film in Portland, OR in 2021. Julia premiered at Bend Film Festival in 2022 and was an official selection at Portland Film Festival, DisOrient Asian American Film Festival of Oregon, NFFTY, Cinema Femme Short Film Festival, and Holly Shorts Film Festival.
